1936 Automoto Pista

Automoto bicycles are originally from France. The company was founded in 1910 and had lots of success in the professional circuit, including the sponsorship of Bottecchia, who won the Tour d’France four times.

The company made racers and city bikes. The pictured model was one of six made for the 1936 Berlin Olympics’ French team, which took the bronze in that year.

Automoto was later purchased in the 1950s by Peugeot.
